When Someone “Gets It”

  Sunday, October 12, 2008- Logicblock

I love when I explain to someone what we’re creating and they “get” it. What I mean by this is not even a minute into the conversation that person sees how the product would impact their life. The Small Things

  Sunday, October 12, 2008- Logicblock

Few weeks ago my ipod went through the washing machine. Which sucked. I use it for running with my Nike+ shoes and system. Google released their own web browser today, Google Chrome. Right now it's only available for Windows XP and Vista but I'm sure it will be cross platform soon. It's based on WebKit which is the same rendering engine that Apple uses for Safari. This is a good things for web developers as we won't have to support another new rendering engine. Taming the PCI Compliance Monster

  Monday, August 25, 2008- Logicblock

The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) requires that if you accept, transmit or store credit cardholder data you must meet the requirements contained within the standard. The problem is that many people don’t know what that means. If you deal with credit cards and are required to meet the PCI DSS, my advice is to find a way to limit the scope of your compliance as much as possible. Rackspace recently concluded a two-year effort to receive our PCI Service Provider Report on Compliance (ROC) as a Compliant Level 1 Service Provider from Visa USA. read full post >>
